Our updated rankings in the class of 2021 take us to the state of Rhode Island today where several players could make a claim at the top spot. It would be wrong to look at the race for the number one ranking in the state of Vermont as a competition between two teammates. Instead, it is a matter of two teammates being head-and-shoulders ahead of everyone else in the class. Nana Owuso came in as the top ranked player in the state, and has done nothing to lose that distinction. His defense may still be ahead of his offense but his length, the maturity of his approach, and continued evolution…

Connecticut's junior class is a deep one when you combine prospects in both the state association as well as the prep ranks. The Maine 2021 rankings were expanded this fall and now, mid-way through the high school season, they're getting a new update. The name atop the list has not changed as Wayneflete's Dom Campbell remains not just the top ranked junior but also the most recruited prospect within the state's borders regardless of class. It was a huge fall for the skilled big man, and one that has been well-documented, after landing his first few division I scholarship offers and developing…

Tops among them is a newcomer, Robert Brown III, who is leading a KUA squad that has now knocked off two AAA opponents in as many weeks. Brown is a physical, downhill guard with a relentless style who can physically dominate a game. The next five spots…

News of a helicopter crash that took the life of Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and 7 other people rocked the basketball world and far beyond on Sunday. A day later, it still doesn't seem appropriate to post recruiting related news. Instead, maybe today should be spent thinking about the families devastated by this loss, reading and watching the tributes to those people, and thinking of the lessons to be learned from their lives. With Bryant, there were obviously…
