Baker Jr. Commits to Boston College

Hamden Hall junior forward Vincent Baker Jr. reportedly made a verbal commitment to Boston College on Monday.

The Eagles are hoping that Baker follows in the same footsteps of his father, former NBA All-Star Vin Baker, who was one of the most well-known late bloomers New England has seen, sprouting up to 6-foot-11 and going from the University of Hartford on to NBA stardom.

Vin Baker Jr. made a brief commitment to Bryant little less than a year ago before the Bulldogs decided to move in another direction. Since then, he transferred to Hamden Hall and reclassified to 2018, and reportedly grown another two inches to just under 6-foot-9.

B.C. head coach Jim Christian and assistant coach Scott Spinelli reportedly traveled to Florida to see Baker this weekend and an offer and subsequent commitment followed shortly afterwards.

Below are some video highlights of Baker.
