St. Thomas More’s seven-foot-two center Chier Ajou committed to Northwestern last week after taking visits to their campus as well as Butler’s.  Ajou is a native of the Sudan who spent two years at Culver Academies in Indiana, where he initially committed to New Mexico.  Following his graduation and subsequent de-commitment he arrived at St. Thomas More for a post-graduate year.  He averaged 14 points, 9 rebounds and just under 3 blocks per year this year for the Chancellors, while… READ MORE >

St. Anselm’s completed their 2012 recruiting class on Thursday with a verbal commitment from Hamden Hall guard Victor Joshua. Joshua, who was one of the best remaining players left available in New England’s class of 2012, is a scoring lead guard with smooth offensive attack.  He’s especially good in the mid-range area but also capable of getting all the way to the rim and a much improved three-point shooter. Bay State Magic’s College Showcase at Brandeis University drew in dozens of local college coaches on Wednesday night. The annual Middlesex Magic and New England Storm College Night attracted over 40 college coaches to Babson College on Tuesday night.  Sitting shoulder to shoulder across one of the sidelines, coaches watched as the two clubs put their seventeen-and-under teams through a series of transition drills and skill-work before playing full five on five games. After a solid spring on the AAU season Kuran Iverson delivered a big performance at last week’s NBA Players’ Association Top 100 Camp. Holy Cross Earns 2nd Commitment
