NE6 is New England’s latest sponsored program
Under Armour has announced the creation of NE6, a new grassroots basketball program in New England and the brand's only sponsored program within the region.
NE6 will operate under the direction of J.R. Hargraves, the founder and longtime director of the Connecticut Basketball Club (CBC). Since it was established in 2004, CBC has helped over 150 students go on to college and produced NBA players like Andre Drummond and Kris Dunn.
"NE6 has a strong network of coaches, some of whom are educators in both public and independent schools," Hargrave said. "The goal is to ensure that our student-athletes gain access to higher education and pursue lives of substance.
NE6 will compete in the Under Armour Association with scheduled stops in Dallas, Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Las Vegas during the April and July NCAA evaluation periods.
