Notre Dame Prep isn't waisting anytime in reloading their roster for the 2010-2011 season and they're doing it with some familiar names.
Khem Birch, Angel Nunez, and Grandy Glaze all recently transferred into Prep and are all currently enrolled in school and taking classes. Birch and Nunez started the year at the Winchendon School while Glaze was at Proctor Academy.
While Glaze is already committed to UNLV, Birch and Nunez are both being recruited by the highest levels of college basketball.
Birch made recently visited Providence's campus and reportedly named the Friars his leader. Notre Dame Prep head coach Ryan Hurd cautioned on Wednesday that, "in the short time Khem has been here we have had calls from just about everyone."
Nunez is drawing similar interest as a six-foot-eight wing who is exceptionally skilled and "so smooth in everything that he does."
While Birch and Nunez will have college coaches flocking to New England, it may be Glaze who is able to make the most immediate impact in the win-loss column. An undersized power forward who plays with the toughness and tenacity that Hurd demands, Glaze projects to be an integral part of Prep's line-up next year.
Notre Dame Prep graduates virtually their entire line-up from last season with the exception of Tyler Strange, a local point guard who has accumulated a steady following of division I coaches.
