National Prep Championship
The National Prep Championship is returning next month to crown an undisputed champion of prep school basketball.
The event will take place at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut from Tuesday, March 8th to Friday, March 11th.
This year’s National Prep Championship will also include an expanded field and format with no less than 16 teams competing for the championship and all teams receiving a three-game guarantee to maximize exposure opportunities for unsigned seniors and post-grads.
The National Prep Championship debuted in 2007 when Michael Beasley lead Notre Dame Prep to the first ever undisputed national championship by defeating Bridgton Academy at a game played in Washington D.C.
2022 will mark the tournaments return since the pandemic arrived and cut short the 2020 tournament with Brewster Academy and Putnam Science Academy being declared co-champions.
