Earlier this week, we talked about the return of Isaiah Miranda to New England and how that would add a new name among the region's top prospects in the class of 2023. 

Well, there's going to be another new name on that list as well, and not because he's returning or arriving in the region. 

Kingswood-Oxford and Expressions Elite forward Gavin Griffiths had a terrific summer, establishing himself as a clear high-major prospect with what should soon become a national profile. 

At 6-foot-7, Griffiths is one of the premier shooters in the region with the ability to make shots on the move and knock them down in bunches. 

He picked up new offers from both UConn and Rutgers, with subsequent unofficial visits to both campuses, following the month.

Iowa, Maryland, Dayton, Fairfield, Hofstra, and Bryant all came in the month of June, especially after his performace at the NEPSAC Showcase. Syracuse was the first high-major school to offer him at this time last year. 

Griffiths was also featured in a recent profile by the Hartford Courant.
