Elite 75 Frosh/Soph to feature North & South Events
For the last 11 years the Elite 75 Frosh/Soph Edition has featured the very best underclassmen in all of New England.
What started as a showcase for roughly 100 young prospects in 2008 has since grown into the largest one-day showcase in the entire northeast region with over 300 players in three of the last four years.
Bigger is not always better though.
While having 300 kids across 8 courts was definitely the only event to put all of the region's top young prospects in the same place at the same time, the downside was that it made it harder to spot that diamond in the rough type prospect. And so for all of the talented youngsters that have started their story at the Frosh/Soph over the years, there have undoubtedly been some that have slipped through the cracks.
In an effort to curtail that trend and ensure that no deserving young prospect goes unrecognized, the 2019 Elite 75 Frosh/Soph will be divded into two different segments. The North Edition will be held on Saturday, September 14th at the Dana Barros Basketball Club in Stoughton. The South Edition will be held on Sunday, September 15th at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut.
Collectively, the two events will not host more than the one event has in years past but will offer increased visibility and exposure for all players.
Following the conclusion of those events the "Elite 75" will be released one-by-one across all NERR media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and NewEnglandRecruitingReport.com.
