Brumbaugh Re-Opens Recruitment
Northfield Mount Hermon point guard Rowan Brumbaugh, a top 100 national prospect, announced on Monday that he was de-committing from Northwestern and re-opening his recruitment.
"I love Chris Collins and the staff at Northwestern and appreciate everything they have done for me," Brumbaugh told Stadium's Jeff Goodman.
Brumbaugh announced his commitment to Northwestern in late August but opted not to sign a National Letter of Intent during November's early signing period.
"I don't think the contract is fair for the student-athlete and is one-sided for the university," Brumbaugh told ESPN's Jeff Borzello at the time.
He recently joined #RealTalk and spoke about how his decision ultimately came down to Texas and Northwestern, with multiple Texas fans joining the Instagram Live show to encourage him to reconsider.
