Next weekend the annual Zero Gravity Finals returns to the greater Boston area. With over 550 teams expected across more than 50 courts, the event is attracting teams from as far as Texas and Canada and promises to be one of the nation's biggest and deepest grassroots events of the year. The 10th grade division was arguably the deepest and most talented of this weekend’s Super 16 Showcase and resulted in a trio of champions. The PSA Cardinals took the championship in the Diamond Bracket of the American Division. A flagship EYBL program out of New York City, they are absolutely loaded with talent and steamed through pool play accordingly. The 9th grade division hosted a ton of talent in the greater New Haven area at this weekend’s Super 16 Showcase. The New York Rens took the top prize in the American Division, going undefeated for the weekend capped by a 68-51 win over the Hoosiers in the semifinals followed by a hard fought win over the New England Playaz in the championship game. The New England Playaz flew south this past weekend for the Adidas Atlanta Memorial Day Classic and came away with a championship, knocking off many of the east coast's top programs under a three stripes banner and finishing the weekend with a perfect 7-0 record.
