Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim was at Haverhill High School on Wednesday to watch six-foot-seven Noah Vonleh. Vonleh, who starred at the recent New England Elite 75 Showcase - Frosh/Soph Edition, went up and down with his high school teammates as Boeheim and assistant coach Mike Hopkins watched from the sidelines. Harvard University landed their latest big recruit on Thursday when Wesley Saunders, a six-foot-five combo-forward from Los Angeles, made a verbal commitment to head coach Tommy Amaker
ESPN calls Saunders "a great competitor and prolific scorer in the mid-range area" who has a "chiseled frame and long arms."
Saunders stars at the Windward School in Los Angeles and runs with Compton Magic on the AAU circuit. He was reportedly also considering UPenn, Stanford, and USC.
