Yags’ Point Forward - 2016 Class Makes College Debut
New England’s Class of 2016 is regarded as one of the most talented groups our region has produced in the last decade. The top of the class was stacked with impact players who turned their massive potential into consistent production earlier than the majority of classes that had come before them, giving coaches and scouts in the area every reason to believe that their talents would eventually translate to the highest levels of college basketball.
Even though it seems like we were just comparing them to their predecessors yesterday, the time for New England’s most recent group of prospects to prove themselves at the next level and on the national stage has already arrived.
As a way to track the progress of the latest prospect class, and also to remind current prospects of the type of work ethic, skillset, physical tools and mental toughness they’ll need to succeed at the next level, we’ll periodically check in on the Class of 2016 during the ’16-’17 college hoops season.
