Windsor Jamboree on Tap this Weekend
Windsor High School and head coach Ken Smith have been up to big things even before the high school season has officially begun.
Last weekend Windsor hosted their annual Hoops for Food Clinic and Scrimmage. The clinic was held for boys and girls ages 5 - 13 with admission consisting only of two non-perishable food items that were donated to the Windsor Food Bank. Following the clinic, 16 teams took part in the annual scrimmage with all proceeds again going to benefit the local food bank.
This weekend, Windsor will hold their annual Jamboree on Friday, December 9th. All participating teams will play two 16 minute halves against revolving opponents. Here's a look at the schedule:
5:45pm Ledyard (Blue) vs. Hope (White)
6:20pm Ledyard (Blue) vs. Cathedral (Purple)
6:55pm Windsor (Maroon) vs. Hope (White)
7:30pm Cathedral (Purple) vs. Canada (White)
8:05pm Windsor (Maroon) vs. Canada (White)
