Week of Big Performances in RIIL
It began on a busy Friday night in the Ocean state as the RIIL's top senior, Charles Correa, had a huge game to lead St. Raphael's over a previously undefeated North Kingston team, 68-66. The playmaking guard finished with a game high 40 points along with 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals.
Correa would start a trend that continued on Tuesday night with Jake DiDemonico and Austin Cilley both turning in monumental performances of their own. DiDemonico led North Providence over West Warwick, 59-57, putting up monster numbers with 20 points and 21 rebounds. Cilley proved why he is arguably the best shooter in the RIIL, connecting on 7 triples while shooting 16-17 from the charity stripe to finish with 43 points and lead Westerly over Tiverton 77-66.
