Unsigned Senior Spotlight - Aaron Gray
Over the course of the last year, we've seen the full gamut of Aaron Gray's potential impact.
In the EYBL, he was an unsung hero for Expressions, as he played starter caliber minutes off the bench and consistently infused energy onto the game, proving that he could not just compete, but produce, against the highest levels of national competition.
During the prep season, he got the opportunity to be showcased more offensively, and he responded by leading Springfield Commonwealth in scoring at over 18 points per game and helping to propel them back into national contention.
Along the way, Gray picked up a handful of division I scholarship offers from schools in the NEC and America East, and yet he remains on the board and among the best available prospects in New England's 2020 class.

Recommendations
"Aaron is a versatile W/F that can legitimately guard both the 3 and the 4 at the next level. A 'do it all' player that contributes to winning on both ends. A D1 ready body, with equivalent bounce and athleticism. He was our leading scorer this year at 18-plus points per game for a team that went 30-7. He can post a smaller defender, knock down the open three, and take a slower defender off the dribble. A true mismatch. He's also willing to take a charge and do all the dirty work as well. The kid is a leader in every aspect of the word."
- Nick Couluris, Head Coach, Springfield Commonwealth Academy
"Aaron is hard-working, athletic, tough, and he competes his tail off. In last year's EYBL, he came off the bench for us and was our energy spark-plug that provided starters minutes. We could always trust him to produce."
- Todd Quarles, Owner & Head Coach, Expressions Elite
Scout's Take
"He's really improved in recent years, and in multiple facets of his game - his motor, his skill-level, his versatility. Guys who improve that consistently in high school, typically only keep doing that at the next level. And that potential development aside, right now you're talking about a high-energy, multi-positional player, who can compete physically and athletically at the D1 level. I think he's got a lot of value as a small-ball four-man but can also be effective as a big wing for teams where he can play alongside a skilled stretch-four."
