Third One is Big for St. Mike’s

St. Michael's head coach Mike Harding continues to score on the recruiting front, recently landing his third commitment in the class of 2011, this time from Winchendon post-graduate power forward James Cambronne who committed to the Purple Knights over a variety of other division II offers.

The six-foot-six forward has exceeded expectations this year at the Winchendon School, establishing himself as one of the team's leaders and most consistent interior scoring presences.  Very effective at the high-post and also capable of playing with his back to the basket, Cambronne has come up big for Winchendon a number of times this year, most recently at the National Prep School Invitational when he hit a game winning buzzer beater to defeat the Canarias Basketball Academy.

Cambronne becomes the third player to commit to St. Michael's joining six-foot-five swingman Darren Glover from the Kent School and scoring guard Corey Crawford from the Phelps School in Pennsylvania in what has to be considered one of the NE-10's stronger classes.  All three players are currently in their post-graduate seasons and expected to make immediate contributions upon arriving in Burlington next year.
