St. Anselm’s Lands New York Forward

St. Anselm's landed their latest talented recruit on Wednesday, earning a commitment from Mike McCahey, a six-foot-five two-hundred-and-eight pound forward from Clarkstown South High School in New York.

McCahey saw recruitment from a variety of division I schools throughout the last year.  He ran with the New York Falcons throughout the spring, summer, and fall AAU seasons.

He's a versatile forward with the ability to consistently make shots from the perimeter but can also rebound in high volume after putting on over ten pounds of muscle in the last year.

McCahey joins Phillips Andover forward Ryan Hartung in St. Anselm's 2012 recruiting class.
