Signing Day is Here
When a player makes a verbal commitment he is essentially giving his word, but when he signs his National Letter of Intent, he is basically signing a legal document. The former isn’t too hard to get out of, the latter very difficult. Consequently, Wednesday is a very big day for schools and recruits across the country. It is the first day of the fall signing period that will last for ten days and the first opportunity for players in the class of 2009 to sign their National Letter of Intent. After it ends, players won’t have another opportunity to sign until the spring. Here is a list of who we expect to be signing on the dotted line this week.
