Pair of A10 Offers for Brodeur

Northfield Mount Hermon and Middlesex Magic rising junior A.J. Brodeur landed his third and fourth offers of the evaluation period on Tuesday as St. Joseph’s and George Washington both hopped on board.

The Massachusetts native scored an offer from Boston College following the first week of the period and added an invitation from Columbia a few days later. St. Joseph’s came calling first on Thursday afternoon and was quickly followed by their Atlantic 10 counterpart GW.

Those most recent four schools join a list that already included Yale, Boston University, Brown, Bucknell, Davidson, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac, and Dartmouth.

The Magic are coming off a big week in Pennsylvania as they took the championship of the Hoop Group Summer Classic East and then advanced to the semifinals of the Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest.

Brodeur played a big part in those runs, earning a write-up from ESPN.com after the first day of the Summer Classic and earning praise for increasing power and strength inside the lane along with the same potent mid-range touch we saw over the last year at NMH.

The Magic travel to Atlantic City where they will wrap-up their summer at Live in the A.C. this week.
