New England Well Represented at Lebron, Uprising

While the New England Recruiting Report was covering events from the Hoop Mountain All Academic Camp to the Reebok Breakdown Camp to the Hoop Group Elite Camp to the BasketBull Summer Championships last weekend, there were some that went beyond even NERR’s coverage.

The Lebron James Skills Academy took place last week in Las Vegas.  The culminating event of Nike’s Skills Academy, the camp hosted local products Terance Mann, Aaron Falzon, A.J. Turner, and Jeremy Miller.

Falzon played well according to reports, hitting six threes to lead his UNC team to the finals of the tournament portion of camp and being tabbed a “stock riser” by ESPN’s Joel Francisco.

Mann also impressed, earning praise from Scout.com’s Evan Daniels who called Mann’s performance in the tournament finals an “eye-opening outing and an inspiring effort.”

Francisco also noted Mann in his recap for ESPN.com equating the rising Tilton senior to the “best glue guy” in the field.

Adidas also held their premier camp last week, bringing the best players in the Gauntlet Series to Chicago for the Adidas Uprising Camp.

New England was well represented at this event as well with Jalen Adams, Josh Sharma, Curtis Cobb, Wenyen Gabriel, Makai Ashton-Langford, and Jerome Desrosiers all in attendance.

Adams and Sharma were both tabbed for the senior all-star game while Gabriel came away with his first high-major scholarship offer from Providence.
