New England Flooded by Coaches
The opening of the fall contact period annually brings a steady stream of college coaches into New England's borders and this year has been no different with schools from all six states drawing visitors throughout the first five days of the period.
But Wednesday's activity was at an all time high as a coordinated workout schedule between Brewster Academy, Tilton, and New Hampton allowed college coaches to potentially visit all three schools during the course of the day.
Brewster kicked things off at 1pm and the group of on-looking coaches included North Carolina's Roy Williams, Michigan's John Beilein, Xavier's Chris Mack, and Boston College's Steve Donahue among others.
Tilton's work-out at 3:30 had Williams and Donahue being joined by fellow head coaches including Louisville's Rick Pitino, West Virginia's Bob Huggins, Iowa State's Fred Hoiberg, and more.
Williams, Donahue, and Huggins wrapped up the day at New Hampton where Dayton's Archie Miller joined them. Assistant coaches from Pittsburgh, Marquette, and Missouri were present at all three stops while Georgetown and Connecticut also made appearances.
