Hyde School

Last year’s defending champions return their best player in powerful 6’3” guard Tywon Clark.  He’ll be able to put points on the board in a hurry and will get plenty of help from 6’3” sophomore Jumah Sutton.  Zach Crocker and Ryan Giebel will also be able to contribute.  If they can get Jovan Mitchell and Jovan Smith back in the line-up they will certainly be the favorites

Pingree School

Allen Williamson returns for his senior year at the Pingree School and he is hoping to make it a successful one.  Williamson is undeniably one of the league’s top players and has the ability to take games over down the stretch.  Look for Steve Gibbs’ club to be right in the thick of things come the first week in March. 

St. Luke’s

With good talent and depth in their backcourt, St. Luke’s will look to attack on both ends of the floor.  Zach Taylor is a multi-talented offensive player who will be given the freedom to break his man down off the dribble while Brendan Demond should benefit from the open three point looks he is bound to get.  6’4” Brandon Yarbrough will anchor the interior effort while Mike and Andrew Clark will also be contributors in the backcourt.

Christian Heritage

Junior guard Jason Pierre is the clear go-to guy as he is strong, explosive, and able to get his own shot whenever he needs to.  Braxton Gardner will anchor the interior while the team also has a nice core of young players who are expected to contribute. 

Boston Trinity

Boston Trinity has added a talented trio of young frontcourt players in 6’7” junior Kadeem Wint, 6’7” junior Veljko Lubic, and 6’8” Gvodzen Vukojevic.  That will compliment the potent backcourt duo of Aaron Johnson and super sophomore Lutheurson Bonheur.  Put it all together and Boston Trinity head coach Rick Linet has talent at all five positions on the floor. 

Lexington Christian

Matt Gibson is one the league’s top point guards but he won’t be able to do it himself.  If the supporting cast can step up and make shots, Gibson will get them the ball.  Two early season losses have been discouraging but any team with a good point guard is a threat to make a run. 

Providence Country Day

It’s strictly family business at PCD as head coach Tom Sienkiewicz is led by his two sons, Tyler and Nick Sienkiewicz.  Tyler is a 6’2” senior forward who can produce both inside and out while Nick is a bigger 6’3” guard who has good potential for being just a junior.
