NEPSAC Class C/D Midseason Report

In this article, we will profile various NEPSAC Class C and D programs as the midway point is upon us.

Hyde: Just a 2025 prospect, Tate Cloutier has been a key component. He has crafty ball handling/finishing ability to go with being a long-range threat. 2023 prospect Jose Batista is back. He brings a nice blend of athleticism, toughness, and emerging skill. Cloutier and Batista both were recently selected to the All-Tournament teams at the Kingswood Invitational Tournament. 2023 wing Steven Jean Louis also contributes with his inside/out scoring tools.

Greens Farms: A pair of intriguing underclassmen on this squad are Jack Nally and Joel Nash. Nally, a 2026 prospect, possesses a good early blend of size and skill at the wing position. Nash, a 2025 prospect, has already established himself as one of the Dragons’ primary playmakers. Another 2025 to watch is Tyler Vassel. Seniors Matt Maged, Charlie Lafreniere, and Matvey Timashaw have provided important leadership.

New York Military: NYMA has a nice post tandem in 2023 prospects Allen Myers and Khalil Baker. Myers is a fluid athlete with budding skill. Baker is difficult to defend on the block with his footwork, touch, and physicality. 2023 forward Jake Davaney gives NYMA a scoring punch from deep and in the mid-range. The Knights also have an assortment of options at guard with players like Miles Manica and Shawn Reckley.

Rocky Hill: 2023 prospect Emmanuel Beldeh has been a consistent source of offense. He stands out with his strength, competitiveness, and ability to get downhill. 2024 big man Max Knight has been a constant presence in the paint at 6’7. Evan Mitchner is another 2026 prospect we already are keeping tabs on. Cameron Chinn and Alex Lehouiller have helped steady the ship as upperclassmen. Elijah McNair and Sire Hazard are getting minutes as just eighth graders as well.

Hamden Hall: 2023 big man Matteo Crisanti finishes and rebounds well to give the Hornets an inside presence. 2023 wing Alex Puhl has a smooth long-range shot but can also put the ball down when attacking closeouts. Maso Gorham and Uchenna Onwuasoanya are a pair of 2024s who add more offensive firepower. Newcomers Ethan Bessoni and Ryan Stratton also contribute. Keep an eye on 2025 guards Ben Miller and Nate McCleery too.
