Crafty C/O 2018 PG Andrej Oljaca handles very efficiently and was one of the top distributors of the basketball at #STARS; quarterback style floor general who hits teammates with strikes in rhythm whether stationary or on the move.
Skilled southpaw guard Cameron Hardy impressed at Stars of Tomorrow Camp; high IQ, smooth stroke, crisp handle, good passer, currently undersized; will catch up with peers quickly as he grows and gets stronger; allowing him to play more effectively over the top and through contact.
C/O 2018 G Julio Pires made a strong 1st impression at #STARS; change of direction/change of pace combo-guard with elusiveness off the southpaw bounce in both the full and half court; attacks at sharp angles to score and distribute the basketball in the lane.
Riley Kramer - Workhorse forward drew attention all weekend at #STARS with his run-through-a-wall-to-make-a-play mentality; sets solid screens both on and off the ball, runs the floor full with aggression, pursues rebounds and loose balls with red alert urgency, and finishes around the basket in traffic in a variety of situations.
C/O 2017 PG Devonte Cooper showed a nice understanding of how to use his quickness in the back court to make his squad better at #STARS; pushing the ball in the open-floor to set up transition scoring opportunities for teammates, hounding the opposing ball handler, and penetrating to kick in the half-court. Also showed ability to knock down open-looks from beyond the arc.
Strong-compact C/O 2017 combo-guard Malcolm Norman was solid in the back-court all weekend playing selflessly on a squad loaded with perimeter talent at #STARS; hole-plugger who's a good passer, makes smart decisions, and knocks down open threes to keep the defense honest.
C/O 2019 point guard Josh Wax was a level-raiser at #STARS as he displayed increased speed and athleticism to go along with his high-IQ point back-court game; getting to the rack and finishing off the bounce in addition to penetrating with the dribble to create for teammates. Knocks down open shots from beyond the arc and makes good decisions running the fast-break.
C/O 2018 SF Jason O'Regan was a standout at #STARS; plays a rugged inside-outside offensive game which he punctuates with a soft touch from 15-feet on in. Takes it strong to the rack on the fast-break lane-fill and off the one-dribble-drive from the arc; looking to score the ball through contact or get to the line.
C/O 2019 energy forward Joe Constant impressed at #STARS as a relentless rebounder who guards multiple positions, puts pressure on the opposing front-line by sprinting the floor, and finishes around the basket in a variety of situations.
Jack Amsler - Heady C/O 2018 off-guard knocks down shots with range & plays crisp team-ball out on the perimeter while competing hard on the boards & defensive end. Brings a solid-fundamental presence to the back-court.
Slashing C/O 2019 off-guard Dante Nunziato showcased a much improved back/court skill-set at #STARS; attacking open creases in the defense with the efficient dribble drive to get into the lane and score the ball or dish to a teammate.
C/O 2019 G Quion Sneed stood out at #STARS as an upbeat back-court player who keeps getting better; in-between scoring ability combined with a continuously improving skill set gives him a nice base on which to build heading into July.
C/O 2018 F Alex Barron made a strong first-impression at #STARS; his combination of size, length, skill, touch, nose for the ball & instinct for the game give him nice front-court potential.
At #STARS, strong-bodied C/O 2017 wing Kareem Harvin brought a tough physical presence to the defensive end while scoring the ball in a variety of situations around the basket and in the lane.
