Maine 2023 Rankings Announced
The Maine 2023 rankings make their debut this morning as part of the roll-out for junior class rankings throughout the state.
Sitting atop the list is South Portland's JP Estrella who has continued to grow and develop his game at every step along the path throughout the first half of his high school career, and now appears on the verge of a true breakout following his recent offer from Syracuse.
Elliot Bouchard is a player we, admittedly, haven't seen in over a year, but he was the best 2023 player we saw in the state as a freshman and is reportedly set to return to the court for his junior season.
Hyde's Jose Batista and Lee's Theo Stefan, who has returned following a year at Bishop Stang, are the top two prospects in the prep school ranks thus far, as we continue to only include players who are returning to the region.
Cape Elizabeth's Evan Reeves, Gardiner's Kalvin Catchings, and Skowhegan's Adam Savage are among the other top prospects we've seen thus far in the local ranks.
