July VT 2026 Ranking Revision

Continuing with our revised rankings for the class of 2026, the next stop comes in the state of Vermont.

The Green Mountain State is by far the smallest in New England, but has seen some impressive prospects come through in recent years, such as Joson Sanon (Arizona St/St. John’s), Taylor Bol Bowen (Florida State/Alabama), Chike Ndefo (Towson), and many more.

To narrow down the rankings, we created a top ten for the class of 2026 of players we’ve been able to get out and evaluate.

Four of the top five spots are held by Vermont Academy Wildcats in the rising senior class.

Isiah Rose starts things off in the top spot as the ascending forward has continued to improve and get looks this summer. The big 6’8 forward has made a name for himself with his post touch, playmaking skills, and physicality on the glass.

Next up is Rokas Zilys, a Chicago native whom we’ve come to know over the years. The 6’2 guard can set the table offensively while also being able to go out there and get a bucket for himself. He thrives as a shooter that can score it in a variety of ways.

Following Zilys, is returning senior DJ King. Another 6’2 guard on the squad, King stands out with his defensive tenacity using his length to force deflections and steals. He’s got good vision to make plays for others and can hit outside shots.

In the fourth spot is Vermont native and another returner primed for a big role, Musa Kasanga. The 6’3 guard adds another element of outside shooting in the back court that thrives particularly well off the catch. He does a great job of keeping possessions alive as a rebounder, and locks in defensively.

Rounding out the top five for the state is Burlington High School’s Byron Robertson Jr. The 6’0 guard can make shots at multiple levels of the floor, while making an impact as a ballhandler with some shift to his game as well.
