Holderness’ Jackson is D2 Bound

Holderness School senior point guard Thomas Jackson committed to St. Michael's over the weekend.

St. Michael's is a division II school in Burlington, Vermont which competes in the prestigious Northeast 10 Conference.

A 6-foot-2 lead guard originally from Connecticut, Jackson had a breakout junior season at Holderness under former Boston College and Cornell assistant Woody Kampmann, proving his ability to put points on the board in bunches and earning interest from a variety of scholarship level schools in the process.

He wasn't quite as visible this spring and summer, sitting out a large portion of the AAU season before joining the Connecticut Basketball Club during the month of July and helping them to their championship at Live in the AC in the final week of the evaluation period.

Jackson has good size for the point guard position but enough scoring instinct to slide off the ball if necessary. He's smooth with the ball in his hands, has a good handle and can make shots off both the catch and the dribble from the perimeter.
