Garrett Delays Decision

Notre Dame Prep point guard Jarvis Garrett was originally scheduled to announce his verbal commitment last Sunday, February 9th, after having previously trimmed his list to just two schools, Marquette and Rhode Island.

Garrett delayed that decision last week and re-opened his recruitment after hearing from the likes of Indiana, Auburn, Missouri, and Oregon State.

The renewed high-major interest came after his performance at the National Prep School Invitational in which he led Notre Dame Prep to three hard-fought wins despite playing through the stomach flu.

Now, the playmaking point guard is finally getting the recognition he deserves as one of the top available point guards in the entire country.

Despite the new high-major suitors, both Rhode Island and Marquette continuing to be high on Garrett's unofficial list according to Notre Dame Prep head coach Ryan Hurd.
