Elijah Flowers Chooses Old Dominion

At the end of May, it was announced that Brewster Academy Prep star Elijah Flowers had accepted a scholarship offer to join Old Dominion this upcoming school year.
Flowers arrived in Wolfeboro this past fall from the DMV as a postgraduate with a lot of hype following both a successful high school career, and a statement grassroots season with TTO National.
Prior to his time with Brewster, he made rounds in the DMV region playing for the Potomac School in Virginia. There, he compiled numerous outings of 25+ points and putting his full upside on display. He would pick up a few Division 1 offers while playing for the program from the likes of Towson, George Mason, and the previous coaching staff at Old Dominion.
This season, Flowers made a statement in the “best postgraduates in New England” talks, a highly contested conversation by many in the scouting world.
His 6'7" frame along with his fluidity and length allow him to cover multiple positions on the court, and crowd passing lanes. As a scorer, he's got a developed pull-up game with good touch on fallaway jumpers inside the arc. Flowers can take his man off the bounce to get to the rim and convert. He's able to knock down three's with versatility in the ways he can make them, as well as rebound the ball at a high-level.
Joining an Old Dominion squad that is coming off a 15-20 record in Head Coach Mike Jones' first season at the helm, Flowers will look to continue to develop and impact the game at the next level.
A staple in the DMV with over 25 years in the area at DeMatha Catholic, Virginia Tech, Maryland and now Old Dominion, it's a pretty safe assumption to say that Jones has seen Flowers standout for a while now.
