Diallo, Diarra Score New Offers

New England may not have an Under Armour sponsored team but the biggest news on day one of the evaluation period came on the UAA circuit as the Putnam Science tandem of Hamidou Diallo and Mamadour Diarra both scored multiple scholarship offers.

Before college coaches were even allowed in the gym Seton Hall extended offers to both the 2016 big man as well as the 2017 guard. VCU would follow suit, giving the tandem a pair of offers before the first ball had even been thrown up on Friday night.

Diarra would grab one more before the night was done as new St. John's head coach Chris Mullin would extend an offer, after having previously offered Diallo only days after accepting his new job.

Diarra and Diallo both scored 18 points to lead the New York Jayhawks to a 64-54 win over Team Supreme in their first ever game on the UAA. Diarra was a super efficient 7-8 from the floor while Diallo added 8 rebounds to his effort.

The Jayhawks also featured other New England prep products including Ray Jerome, Kashaun Hicks and Brandon Aughburns.
