Allen is a Connecticut native who starred with Project Triple Threat on the grassroots circuit last spring and summer and picked up multiple D2 offers along the way.
He is a skilled 6-foot-6 forward who is a bit of a throwback with his ability to score around the basket but can also space opposing defenses out to the perimeter.
He is the fourth member of Cheshire Academy's 2017 class to earn a full athletic scholarship as he joins Rich Kelly (Quinnipiac), Jairus Stevens (Fort Wayne), and Deng Nhial (West Georgia).
The Golden Knights are coming off a historic 2016-2017 season in which they went 26-8 season and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, marking their 13th tournament appearance in the last 26 years.
Below are highlights of Allen's senior season at Cheshire.
