BU Lands 3rd Coveted NEPSAC Product
Boston University is putting together their latest star-studded recruiting class and this group has a distict local flavor.
Phillips Exeter post-graduate guard Javante McCoy became the third 2017 prospect to make a verbal commitment to head coach Joe Jones following his official visit to BU's campus this weekend.
McCoy took to his twitter account to announce his decision on Saturday night.

McCoy is a big 6-foot-3 guard, originally from Texas, who was one of the hottest prospects in New England this fall, attracting suitors from coast and coast with offers ranging from the Atlantic 10 to the WCC and numerous others.
A true combo-guard who is equally effective playing on or off the ball, McCoy is a very good ball-handler and playmaker who projects as a big lead guard at the next level.
He joins Holderness big man Sukhmail Mathon and St. Luke's forward Walter Whyte in the Terriers' current class. All three players had commitable scholarship offers from Atlantic 10 schools prior to joining BU, and while celebrated recruiting classes may not be anything new for head coach Joe Jones and his staff, this group is unique because all three are from the local prep ranks.
Below are some of McCoy's highlights from his senior season at Wakeland High School in Texas.
