B.C. Lands Second Recruit in 2011
Boston College landed a verbal commitment from six-foot-six swingman Eddie Odio on Thursday. Odio joins Milton Academy big man Dennis Clifford in the Eagles' 2011 class.
Like Clifford, Odio seems to be a perfect fit for the offensive system that Donahue ran at Cornell, helping the team advance to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
ESPN's Scouts Inc. describes Odio as "a shooter who displays very good bounce" while calling him "a very smart player with a great feel for the game."
Odio stars at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida and runs with Florida Gulf Coast on the AAU circuit.
