Bangor Native Chooses Princeton
In June, St. Paul’s and Middlesex Magic 2025 wing Landon Clark announced his commitment to Princeton, effective after the 2024-25 academic year.
Clark has emerged as a prominent figure in Maine basketball, alongside Cooper and Ace Flagg, bringing national attention to the state’s basketball scene. He played a pivotal role on the Maine United EYBL team led by Duke’s Cooper Flagg.
Last summer, Maine United reached the Nike E16 title game against the Nightrydas, led by Cam Boozer, the second-best prospect in the 2025 class.
Despite falling short, Clark averaged 10.6 points and 5 rebounds per contest over the course of Peach Jam, making a significant impact in their run to the championship game.
Before transferring to St. Paul’s in 2022, Clark was a standout at Bangor High School, averaging 21.8 points, 9 rebounds, and shooting 40% from three-point range.
At St. Paul’s, Clark continued to excel, noted by many for his defensive versatility and sharpshooting ability. He earned All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention (2022-23) and All-NEPSAC Class A (2023-24) honors.
Due to Maine United’s absence from the EYBL this season, Clark joined Middlesex Magic, where his immediate impact was evident.
In an interview at the Gym Rats event in Albany, Clark emphasized his team-first mentality, a trait that defines his game. Beyond his shooting prowess and defensive skills, he consistently pulls in rebounds, dishes out assists, and makes winning plays which he did for the Middlesex Magic throughout the season.
After an impressive spring, Clark received Ivy League offers from Dartmouth and Princeton, ultimately choosing Princeton, where he plans to pursue a degree in engineering or economics.
With his commitment to Princeton, Clark is poised to make a significant impact on the court for the Tigers.
