A Man on the Move

It’s been another busy week for Noah Vonleh.

The sophomore forward was in Las Vegas last weekend for Adidas’ Nations second training session of the spring, after traveling to Chicago last month for session one.

On Wednesday, Scout.com came out with their national rankings and listed Vonleh as the third overall prospect in the national class of 2014.  On Thursday, Vonleh will surely be near the top of the list when ESPN debuts their Super 60 rankings.

This weekend, Vonleh will lead his Rivals Basketball Club into the Memorial Day Super 16 Showcase where they will try to capture their third major championship of the spring after winning the Northeast Hoops Festival and Providence Jam Fest.

Vonleh’s schedule will continue to be a busy one heading into the summer.  He’ll be attending the third training session of Adidas Nations from June 8-10 in Chicago before participating in the NBA Players’ Association Camp from June 10-13 at the University of Virginia.  He’s been invited to attend both the Amare Stoudamire Skills Academy as well as the Lebron James Skills Academy in late June and early July, all of which takes place before the live period returns during the second week of July when the Rivals will head off to the Adidas Invitational, Hoop Group Summer Classic East and Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest before finishing their summer at the Adidas Super 64 in Las Vegas.

On the recruiting front, Vonleh still hasn’t come out with any type of official list, although it’s safe to say he’ll have his choice of nationally renowned programs at this point.

Syracuse was the first high-major school to offer him a scholarship, back when he was just a 14 year old freshman at Haverhill High School.  Pittsburgh and Kansas followed with offers shortly thereafter.  North Carolina wasn’t far behind as they offered after head coach Roy Williams saw the Rivals play two games in Las Vegas.  Now he claims offers from a long list that includes Boston College, Providence, Florida, Ohio State, Maryland, Connecticut, Georgetown, Auburn, Arizona, Marquette, UCLA, Georgia Tech, and numerous others.
