2025 Central #E75 College Showcase Recap pt. 7
Colin Okparaigwe, Wilbraham & Monson - The big 6'4" guard from the Czech Republic brings impressive length and looks to make an impact this season. His ability to shoot it off the dribble and crowd passing lanes with his length caught our eye. The decision-making he brings as a ballhandler stand out as well as his physical tools.
Alex Elston, Wilbraham & Monson - Elston brings good lead guard size at 6'2", and has the ability to both score at all three levels, and run the offense. His ability to attack lanes with his crossover and speed at the event caught our eye, while he was able to throw down some dunks as well. The Washington native is primed for a big season with Coach Mannix at WMA.
Chinedu Okpara, Wilbraham & Monson - Okpara brings a high motor and athleticism that shows up in his shot blocking and rebounding on the defensive end, as well as on finishes in the lane. He showed good ability to get to the bucket and score with competence as a standstill three-point shooting threat in his outing. Okpara will be an integral frontcourt piece this season.
Nicholas Fein, Norwell: The guard is a smooth shooting threat from outside who can really get into his shots and see them fall from the perimeter. He makes shots in a variety of ways, moves the ball well with his heads up vision, and buys in on the defensive end. High Academic rising senior who was a vital factor to a state title this season for Norwell HS.
Christian Pachis, The Prout School - Pachis' ability to impact the game as a sizable guard that can hit the three ball stood out as he did so in his Elite 75 outing.
Dylan Sweetser, Methuen: Preparing for a big senior season at Methuen HS, Sweetser caught our eye. His blend of size at 6'4" with shooting and finishing inside led to a number of points on the night, while he plays hard defensively too.
Jayden Joseph, Griswold: The 6'5" forward will serve a big role for his squad this season. He does a good job of rim-running, with bounce/athleticism to both score in the lane, as well as block shots that come his way.
Ricky Abelard, Newman - The quick guard showed off his playmaking chops in his outing, making an impressive cross court pass to an open teammate for a three. He's got a solid handle on the ball, with good ball pressure on the defensive end.
Sebastian Harding, George School: Harding's finishing ability in the lane led by his patience and touch caught our eye. He also showed some good defensive playmaking skills using his quick feet and hand timing to force turnovers.
Morris Lichtenstein, CRLS - Lichtenstein's scrappy defensive approach allows him to generate steals and draw fouls consistently throughout games. His hustle and defensive instincts have positioned him for a big role in his upcoming senior season.
Domenic Panniello-Torres, Bishop Fenwick - Panniello-Torres made plays on defense with his active hands, consistently poking the ball loose from opposing ball handlers at the showcase. His ability to knock down the three-ball stood out as well.
