2025 Central #E75 College Showcase Recap pt. 4

Davian Diaz, Concord Academy - The efficient scorer led his team in that column this past season. Diaz can get hot and knock down attempts in bunches from multiple levels of the court. His versatility to guard multiple positions and high energy on both ends of the floor will be huge for Concord this season.
Harryns Cantave, Brooks - Cantave was part of the championship winning team at Brooks last year and brings good size at 6'6" to the forward position. His athleticism allows him to score effectively in the paint and finish above the rim. The athletic ability he has translates well to the defensive end as well where he is very switchable.
Stryckland Whittley-Ligon, Kingswood-Oxford - Whittley-Ligon has vastly improved his athleticism, and it's evident by looking at him that he lives in the weight room. His strong offensive rebounding gives his team extra possessions, while he's becoming a legitimate standstill shooting threat from the perimeter. The forward's post playmaking ability and improved physical tools have him making significant strides in his development.
Julian Dent, Macduffie - Dent brings athleticism, long arms, and a translatable body to the wing. He can score from the perimeter, or rise into mid-range pull up's. His high energy level on defense and switchability stands out while, he looks to assume a leadership role on a sneaky Macduffie team this winter.
Nikolas Yudin, Phelps - Yudin does an excellent job getting open off the ball and is ready to get right into his shooting pocket off the catch. The scrappy guard brings toughness on the defensive end and isn't afraid to take on the other team's top scoring option.
Max Pires, Marianapolis - Pires showed the ability to get inside and finish in the lane with his aggressive attacks of the basket. His defensive intensity matched his offensive approach as he brought that same competitive mentality on both ends.
Nicholas Tarro, LaSalle (RI) - The rising senior will be in the conversation for the best senior in Rhode Island this year. Tarro's stood out for a while now with his impressive scoring skill set. He plays with pace, attacking defenders going towards the rim pretty often, and has great footwork to complement that as well. High-Academic, and a leader we have gotten a ton of viewings of in the ZGXL.
Mohamed Camara, Cheney Tech (CT) - Camara does a solid job pushing the pace and making good passes in transition to get his team easy scoring opportunities. His ability to drive middle and kick to open teammates showed off his point guard instincts and court vision. The skilled ball handler brings the type of pace and decision-making that keeps defenses on their heels, while being able to get a bucket himself as well.
Brendan McDonald, Pomfret - McDonald does a good job pushing the ball in transition and creating fast break opportunities for his team. His shooting ability from the perimeter keeps defenses honest, while his finishing makes him a threat when attacking the basket.
Alexander Trombley, Liverpool - Trombley has made noise in upstate New York with his ability to relocate for shots and knock them down with a smooth release. His quick moves and solid handle allow him to create his own looks and get to good spots on the floor
Gavin DeLuties, Middlesex - DeLuties has definitely been in the weight room and it shows with his physical presence in the lane. His added strength allows him to hold his own inside when absorbing contact on drives, while still being able to step out and shoot it from the perimeter. He looks to be a big part of a promising Middlesex squad this upcoming winter.
Gavin White, Batavia - White does a good job working to get position in the post and shows smart movement without the ball. His footwork and touch around the rim allow him to finish effectively when he gets good looks inside.
