2025 Central #E75 College Showcase Recap pt. 3

Cooper Steele, Northwest Catholic - Steele's high basketball IQ and court awareness led to a ton of smart passes and the ability to consistently create opportunities for teammates. He's a knock down shooter with shot creation skills off the dribble. Steele has been dubbed by some as one of the top under-the-radar 2026 prospects in the CIAC.
Tyler Uveges, Northwest Catholic - Uveges uses his size effectively from the perimeter and showed off his excellent court vision with his passes to cutters. His good hands on defense allowed him to disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers at the showcase.
William Carty, Watertown - Carty just put together a monster season at Watertown, averaging 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. The physically dominant 6'10" center has the size and production to make serious noise if he continues developing his body and post game. Size is a well-known entity in the game of basketball, so he will undoubtedly get a lot of college looks.
Sean Wilson, Trumbull - Wilson has established himself as one of the best guards in the ZGXL with his tough, physical style of play. The strong guard can shoot the lights out from deep, but also uses his body and power effectively to get to the rim with his quick handle on the ball. He's a high academic player who should be on the radar as one of the top guards to know in Connecticut's 2026 class.
Thomas Rushin, Northwest Catholic - The 6'5" forward showed off his ability to draw fouls around the basket, while still being able to finish through contact and get to the free-throw line. Outside of his touch, his ability to box out, corral rebounds, and buy-in on the defensive end stand out as well.
Alexander Gordon, Brewster - Gordon has continued his development at a high level since arriving at Brewster Academy from Vermont. The quick and shifty guard brings impressive passing chops to the court and can knock down threes off the dribble. His scrappy approach to the defensive end and overall feel for the game show just how he can impact winning in multiple ways.
Andre Langley, Holderness - The 6'4" guard brings excellent size and feel to the backcourt, looking to create for his teammates and get them open looks. His ability to get downhill and create his shot on jumpers stands out as well. The smart decision-making and shot creation ability he displays show legitimate scholarship-level talent.
Kody Jamieson, Marianapolis - Jamieson is an underrated guard in Connecticut who has shown off his excellent court vision and ability to make smart reads throughout our viewings of him this spring/summer. His ability to rise into pull-up jumpers and handle the rock effectively gives him multiple ways to impact the game on offense.
Kolby Mills, Griswold (CT) - Mills showed his shooting ability by knocking down multiple threes with solid footwork and form throughout his two game sets. His balanced and crafty finishing around the rim gives him another dimension to score off the bounce when he attacks close outs.
Alexander Echevarria, St. Mark's - Fresh off a notable season, Echevarria has shown himself to be a natural leader on the court who can help win games. He balances looking for his shots with getting his teammates involved. The crafty guard can score at all three levels and brings that same aggressive approach defensively.
Stryckland Whittley-Ligon, Kingswood-Oxford - Whittley-Ligon has vastly improved his athleticism, and it's evident by looking at him that he lives in the weight room. His strong offensive rebounding gives his team extra possessions, while he's becoming a legitimate standstill shooting threat from the perimeter. The forward's post playmaking ability and improved physical tools have him making significant strides in his development.
