Woodstock’s Anderson Signs with South Carolina

Following a 2-0 weekend at the National Prep Showcase, Woodstock Academy wing Trey Anderson traveled immediately to South Carolina for an official visit.

The California native made a verbal commitment and signed a National Letter of Intent before leaving and now becomes the 8th member of Woodstock's 2019 class to sign with a division I school during the early signing period.

Anderson spent the travel season starring alongside Arizona pledges Nico Mannion and Josh Green for West Coast Elite in the Under Armour Association. He was the team's third leading scorer at just under 11 points per game along with almost 4 rebounds per night. He's put up similar numbers so far this season for Woodstock, reportedly averaging 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals per night.

He is the third player to sign with South Carolina and head coach Frank Martin during the early signing period and the second from New England as he joins Gould Academy big man Wildens Leveque

Anderson is a big wing with the length and athleticism to match. He's been Woodstock's starting two-guard to begin the season but has the physical tools necessary to play and defend multiple positions. He's also a consistent floor spacer and reliable three-point shooter.

Below are some of his summer highlights care of Courtside Films.
