Ryan Richmond 2015

Williston Northampton post-graduate point guard Ryan Richmond made a verbal commitment to Bentley on Monday.

Richmond came to Williston from his home in Toronto, Ontario and was one of the focal points for a team that went on to win the NEPSAC Class A Championship.

He was especially impactful down the stretch of the second half in that championship game, making a number of big plays and good decisions with the ball in his hands.

Bentley head coach Jay Lawson was one of the college coaches in attendance that day and the Falcons have come on strong ever since, hosting Richmond for an official visit last week and offering him a full scholarship at that time.

"I am really excited for Ryan and for Bentley Universitiy," Williston Northampton head coach Mike Shelton told NERR. "Coach Lawson's program has excelled over the last twenty years in the NE-10 and in the northeast region. We wanted the best academic and basketball fit for Ryan and we couldn't have done better than Bentley! Jay really got a great player and a better person with Ryan."

Below are some of Richmond's highlights from the first half of the season:
