Wilbraham Post-Grad Big East Bound

Wilbraham and Monson power forward Braeden Anderson was one of two frontcourt players to make a verbal commitment to DePaul this weekend according to ESPN.com.

Anderson, a six-foot-eight Canadian native, made his New England debut this fall when he first arrived at Wilbraham and Monson.

A physical specimen with tremendous athleticism, Anderson has undeniable upside with his best basketball clearly still in front of him.  He has seen recruitment from a variety of high-major programs in his two months in New England, including schools from both the Big East and the ACC.

This weekend he joined Derrell Robertson, a six-foot-nine center from Mississippi, who also committed to first year head coach Oliver Purnell while on the Chicago campus for his official visit.

Anderson's commitment solidifies the all Big East frontcourt for Wilbraham as he will team with UConn bound center Enosh Wolf to form a deadly interior duo.

Anderson and Robertson are both reportedly expected to sign their National Letters of Intent during this week's early signing period.
