What is the Elite 75 College Showcase?

The Elite 75 College Showcase is the region's premier rising senior showcase. It was the inaugural event of New England Basketball Services in 2006 and the first of its kind to put all of the region's best players in the same gym at the same time.
Since then, the event has grown and became a staple around the New England region for the invaluable exposure it provides.
The Elite 75 College Showcase was designed for any player who aspires to play at the collegiate level, and does not yet possess an active Division One offer. Overall, we’ve seen an extremely high rate of participants move on to play in college after being in the College Showcase.
Before we get into the layout of where and when the College Showcases are going down, let's tackle some frequently asked questions and overall go into more depth on the benefits of the event.
What makes the Elite 75 different from any other showcase? For starters, the Elite 75 coaching staff is composed solely of active college coaches at the Division II & III levels. This allows not only the coaches to get eyes on players, but an opportunity for players to get feedback from coaches at the next level.
That’s all? No, not at all. Last year’s College Showcase Series had 85+ active college coaches in the building – just on the 20th, and there were three editions of the event. The event has an established reputation as a showcase that college coaches WILL find players that they end up recruiting.
The Division III landscape in New England, and the Northeast as a whole is vast. We see a ton of these schools file into the gym, and scoop up prospects on a yearly basis. The Division II level has one of, if not the, best conferences at that level in the NE-10 – where we have active coaches working and in the building making their lists.
How do I get my name out there outside of the event itself? Great question. The NERR staff is in full force on-site at the showcase taking detailed notes on each player. Following the event, you are included in a detailed scouting description on your game, along with a recruiting profile on the NERR website, and in one of the largest free college prospect databases you will find on the internet.
Well I think I’m a Division One player? You just well might be! But don’t worry, just because Division I coaches aren’t allowed at the event does not mean they don’t follow the NERR channels. Every team in the Atlantic 10 Conference has an active coach who follows the NERR accounts – The ACC? 89%. That is not a typo. The Southland Conference primarily based in Texas is even at an over 80% rate, with a good amount of head coaches that are in tune with NERR.
Some players at scholarship programs we have seen in the College Showcase over the past two seasons: Graham Eikenberry (The Citadel), Ryan Tolliver (Northern Kentucky), Patrick Curtin (Bucknell), Ryan Sullivan (Harvard), Lenny Tangishaka (Assumption), Chris Leman (Mercyhurst), Christian McClease (Southern Connecticut), Josh Caruso (Saint Anselm), Connor Swider (Youngstown State), Da’mnic Gittens (Sacred Heart), Aidan Losiewicz (New Haven), Deng Aguek (Saint Michael’s), Najimi George (New Haven), Mason Moses (Georgetown), Christian Jeffers (Bentley), Dominick Laduca (New Haven), Justin Munger (Cedarville), John Kelley (Saint Michael’s), Connor O’Rourke (Saint Anselm), Korbin Dixon (Emory & Henry), Carson McDonald (American), Andrew Alekseyenko (Colgate), Anthony Nimani (Cornell), Max Miller (Fordham), Leonidas Vlogianitis (Pace), Harry Geng (Saint Michael’s), John Brigham (UMass), Drew Bessette (Vermont), Justice Hanna (New Haven), and more with active scholarship options on the table.
I’ve signed up for the event, what else can I do to make myself known here? If you’re signed up for the College Showcase, you should be on your social media’s (X importantly) and letting coaches know 1. Which event you are going to and 2. Who you are (Name, height, year of graduation, HS, highlights if you have them).
Those that make an effort to be seen by college coaches in the recruiting process, are oftentimes seen by a lot of college coaches!
