Weekend Recap
The second week of the July "Live Period" came to an end on Sunday with New England teams scattered around various locations in the country.
In Augusta, the first week of the Nike Peach Jam came to an end with Expressions finishing with a 2-3 record and BABC 1-6. Both teams now await selection to the 24-team field competing for the EYBL championship next week. In the E16 division, Expressions is off to a 5-1 record and firmly in the field for next week's championship run.
In Iowa, the Adidas 3SSB season wrapped up with the Mass Rivals falling in the opening game of bracket play but going 4-1 on the weekend to finish with a 8-3 record on the season.
In Dallas, the Under Armour Association wrapped up their second session leading to next week's finals in Indianapolis. The NE6 u17 team finished 1-4 and now awaits scheduling for next week.
At Spooky Nook, the HGSL champions were crowned with the NJ Panthers taking the 16u title and Team Spartans taking the 15u title. The Middlesex Magic also went a perfect 10-0 to win the championships of both the 17u Spooky division and the 16u Platinum division.
In Springfield, at the BasketBull Summer Championships, One Dream took the 11th grade Naismith championship with a win over Top Structure while DTX took the Hall of Fame Championship with a win over Prodigy Black. BlackBear North took the championship in the 10th grade division.
