Vermonter Lands A10 Offer
Kendrick Gray, the top ranked rising junior in the state of Vermont, picked up his first division I scholarship offer on Thursday and it was a big one as St. Bonaventure, from the Atlantic 10 Conference, came calling.
The highly athletic six-foot-six swingman helped lead Rice Memorial to a Vermont state championship last year as a sophomore, scoring 13 points in the state championship game.
He ran with the New England Playaz 10th grade squad this spring and summer on the grassroots circuit, making stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Las Vegas after beginning the July evaluation period at the Hoop Group Elite Camp.
Gray is already well known for explosiveness and ability to play high above the rim, yet still just scratching the surface of his potential.
