UConn Lands German Forward
Wednesday marked Connecticut's second verbal commitment of the last week as Leon Tolsdorf committed to head coach Jim Calhoun after visiting the campus on Tuesday.
The six-foot-seven Tolksdorf played for ALBA Berlin II this past season, averaging 5.2 points and 14.2 minutes per game. He'll join two other German natives on next year's Connecticut roster in rising juniors Enosch Wolf and Niels Giffey.
Tolkdsdorf becomes the third player to commit to Connecticut in the 2012 class joining shooting guard Omar Calhoun and big man Phillip Nolan.
