Thomas had a decorated senior year averaging 26 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game while leading Amity to their first ever state finals. He finished as the second all-time leading scorer in program history (despite only playing for three years), earning All-State honors, and being named the New Haven Register Player of the Year.
Thomas is also a product of the Project Triple Threat grassroots program and brought his game to even higher level during the July evaluation period when he was scoring in bunch and making countless big shots.
"Ty is a great kid who is focused, continues to improve, and definitely made the most of his off-season with our club," said PTT director and head coach Drew Dawson. "We couldn't be happier for his opportunity and commitment to Sacred Heart and look forward to following his progress this season under Coach [Ben] Farmer at Williston Northampton."
