St. Andrew’s Takes BL-RL Title

St. Andrew's won three games in a matter of 36 hours to claim the title at the annual Roxbury Latin-Belmont Hill Holiday Tournament this weekend.  

They opened with a 60-40 win over St. Sebastian in a game in which head coach Mike Hart went to the bench early and often.  Later on Friday they took down fellow Class A rival Brimmer & May by a 70-40 margin.  

Saturday's final matched them against AA powerhouse Tabor Academy.  The Saints took a 27-26 advantage into the locker room at the half but were able to pull away in the second to earn the win and the title with a 83-55 score.  

Ballas TV was on hand for the final and able to produce a three minute highlight video of the championship game which features a variety of players in the St. Andrew's rotation including Bonzie Colson, Tom Hunt, Edson Dascy, Andre Berry, John Geary, and Henry Bolton among others.
