South Kent’s Walker Re-Opens Recruitment

South Kent post-graduate Romello Walker de-committed from Binghamton on Saturday according to Cardinal's head coach Kelvin Jefferson.

The six-foot-six swingman initially made his verbal commitment about six weeks ago, just prior to the first of the year, and was one of five players to commit to the Bobcats in the 2014 class, along with a pair of other New England prep products in Cheshire Academy's Wilfredo Rodriguez and Marianapolis Prep's Bobby Ahearn.

Walker had been the subject of wide-ranging division I recruitment prior to his verbal commitment and is again expected to attract similar attention in the coming weeks.

South Kent should be a prime destination for college coaches still in the market for incoming talent with Walker rejoining other unsigned 2014 products like Schadrac Casimir, Dusan Perovic, Jordan Strawberry, and others.
