"The love and sincere interest they showed in me from the jump really impressed my family and I" Reaves told NERR's Zack Sandberg. "The campus was beautiful and isolated, so I could just focus on school and ball. Most importantly, it was the right fit. They wnat me to come in and make an immediate impact next year and I'm willing to work and help them get back to the top!"
Reaves is a combo-forward with a naturally powerful build. He's at his best playing north to south in the open floor where he can take the ball off the glass to start the break and can be like a bulldozer running downhill when he gets a burst of momentum at his back. He plays through contact in the half-court, is an improved mid-range shooter, and has soft lay-up touch at the rim. He's also versatile defensively with the upper body strength to guard bigger guys.
