SNHU Lands Latest STM Product

St. Thomas More post-graduate swingman Chris Walters made a verbal commitment to Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Walters came to St. Thomas More after a successful high school career at Westhill High School in Connecticut.

His stock began to rise over the summer as he starred with United Sons and Daughters on the AAU circuit.

Best known for his high level athleticism and slashing ability, Walters was been able to improve his skill set and offensive versatility in the last year, which ultimately made him far more attractive to scholarship level schools.

He is the fourth St. Thomas More product to commit to Southern New Hampshire in the last three years joining current sophomores Elijah Bonsignore and B.J. Cardarelli along with freshman Rodney Sanders.

The Penmen will return virtually their entire line-up following a run to the finals of the Northeast 10 Conference tournament and a spot in the NCAA Division II tournament.
